AUSTIN, TX, October 28, 2013 (LifeSiteNews.com) – A federal judge has blocked a provision in Texas’ new abortion law requiring abortionists to have admitting privileges at a local hospital, and amended a section putting in place new safety regulations for the use of RU-486. However, provisions in the bill that ban abortion at 20 weeks and that require abortion facilities to meet the same standards as ambulatory surgical facilities remain in place.
